- Dormitories: We offer accommodation for 8, 10, or 12 people. Please note that specific dormitories cannot be booked in advance.
- Drinking water: There is no drinking water directly at the hut. Water can be purchased from us.
- Glacier Trail: The Glacier Trail is a marked path (white-blue-white) and does not require glacier equipment. It is classified as T4 (demanding mountain hike). For this trail, we recommend good mountain boots, hiking poles, and surefootedness.
- Hut access: Detailed information on how to get here can be found at: https://britannia.ch/zustieg/
- Payment options: Payment is made on site. You can pay in Swiss Francs (cash) or with debit and credit cards. Please note that your credit card will not be charged during online reservation.
- Mobile reception: You generally have reception near the hut.
- Saastalcard / Guest Card: The Saastalcard is not available at the huts.
- Sleeping bag liner: A sleeping bag liner is obligatory for your overnight stay. If you don’t have one, you can purchase it directly from us at the hut.
- Shelter: available.
- Showers: There are no shower facilities at the hut.
- Water supply: Since the Britannia Hut does not have a natural spring, our water supply is ensured in various ways. The main sources are collected rainwater from the roof, a snow depot, and in winter, additional water transports from Felskinn. Please be aware that water is a precious resource here, and we ask you to use it sparingly and carefully.
- Wi-Fi reception: We do not offer public Wi-Fi. Internet access is reserved for the hut team for operational purposes.
